Considers normal variations and abnormalities of different developmental, cultural, and ethnic groups. The laboratory portion allows the student to practice assessment and clinical intervention skills in a simulated environment. Prerequisite: Admission to Clinical Nurse Leader program.

This course is an intensive clinical experience in an area selected by the student. The experience allows for full implementation of the clinical nurse leader competencies and includes a strong interdisciplinary practice focus.
