Clinical Practice & Decision-Making: Nursing Care of Children & Families
Course Description
This course provides opportunities for students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to meet the unique biopsychosocial needs of growing children and adolescents, and their families. Clinical experiences in community-based and acute care settings focus on applying the principles of family-centered care and offer opportunities to provide nursing care to children and families that promotes health and prevents illness and injury.
