Fulgham is a good guy, but very boring. He is very monotone, but he does try a joke every now and then. They are pretty terrible though. Anyway, the class is very hard and requires a lot of your attention. BUT!!! If you got to his office hours with real questions and show that you are making an honest attempt he will help you in any way he can. He is not a bad guy, just a boring teacher in a hard class.

Fulgham is very boring. He is not very enthusiastic in class and his work is near impossible. Avoid this course with this professor if possible. Be Warned!!!
Fulgham is a great guy. Go to his office hours and he'll help you out with everything you need. TAs in the class are pretty worthless, but still go to their office hours to work with your peers on the homework sets.
The tests are pretty hard, but if you study you'll be fine. It can be difficult to pay attention, because Fulgham is a boring lecturer and doesn't care if you use your laptop. He usually has his back to the class and lectures directly off his slides. On the bright side, he posts all his slides, as well as old tests and quizzes in Collab, and he's very good at grading tests and quizzes quickly.
Professor Fulgham knew what he was teaching and was able to answer all the questions well. He is pretty quirky and makes weird but fitting analogies. Overall, he is fair, likable, and open to suggestions. A good teacher.
Professor Fulgham is very knowledgeable and has good lecture notes. He does use powerpoints, which I didn't particularly like, but the notes are thorough and easy to follow (as well as online). I enjoyed the class, and it is not too difficult if you are willing to do the problem sets and homework.
this is definitely the most time-consuming APMA class. the homeworks take forever for the first half of the semester and then decrease in time slightly. definitely have to put the time in to understand and practice concepts
Fulgham did a fantastic job explaining a very difficult subject. He always went over the general method, as well as example problems. Also, he was extremely clear about what would be on the tests and exam, and you could pretty much predicted exactly what the test would look like based on the practice tests on collab. The worst part is the WebWork quizzes. There are so many problems, and they sometimes took me up to 5 hours to complete. Fulgham is like a very quirky Dr. Seuss character, and once he opens up to your class can be very entertaining.
Professor Fulgham is a very consistent man, however I found his lectures rather dry. He lectures from powerpoints and gives out weekly online quizzes that are very time consuming. Do the work and you'll get a good grade.
He knows what he's doing, but the classes are boring as hell and it's extremely easy to doze off since he teaches from power points. He inputs the wrong answer a lot on webworks, too. However, the class and material are pretty straight forward, and the tests are fair.
