Great class! I learned a lot and plan to continue taking CS classes even though I'm not a CS major.

Professor Upsorn cared a lot about her students and was more than willing to help students learn. However, I felt that due to the difficulty in the nature of teaching CS, her lecture will sometimes be hard to follow or a little unorganized. Also, because this an intro class and they try to teach you so much and not spend much time going in depth about each topic, I found myself having to teach myself how to write the code or figure things on my own. The homework assignments got really difficult for later half of the course and going to office hours didn't cut it for me.... overall if you are unfamiliar with CS and just thinking about taking this to learn more, don't risk it because your grade will suffer...
