Don't take this class with Bonvillian. He's a really nice guy and he's enthusiastic about his subject, but his lectures are boring and not well organized, and he shows a heavy bias toward topics on which he has done research. Prepare to spend hours listening to lectures about child psychology and deafness after he spends 30 minutes out of the whole semester on social pyschology. Probably a course worth taking, but definitely not with Bonvillian.

He knows a lot of the people in your textbook which is cool. PSYC 101 is your basic lecture class with a bunch of reading and 3 tests. The subject is not too difficult but you need to keep up with your reading.

Bonvillian personally know a lot of the major names in the history of psychology- so be prepared for long winded stories about Mary Ainsworth and Koko the signing gorilla.
