The class was interesting, but could get dry at times during lectures. Bonvilian really enjoys what he does, and you can tell in class. I attended lectures, but only read the chapter summaries and did very well on the tests.

Personally I think this class is terrible. I did readings, went to every class, took clear notes, but Bonvillian seems to somehow confuse the facts in my head enough to give me a bad grade. His 50 question multiple choice tests are full of trick questions designed to confuse your knowledge as much as possible. I think I would have done better if I had not studied at all.

This class is pretty cool, and really really easy if you know how to study for it. Go to glass and take notes and then Use the past exams that he posts online and you are basically in the clear for a B+ or A-. Reading isn't super necessary, but it helps. Skimming the reading is recommended. Cool guy, good class.

Bonvillian is such a great guy. You can tell he loves what he does, and that he knows his stuff. His lectures weren't always the most interesting, and he tends to talk a lot about his research interests and other famous psychologists he knows, but the classes weren't dreadful. Make sure you read the book (well-written) and take the practice tests.

The only three grades are the two midterms and the final, but they're multiple choice and he posts five past exams for each test. Lectures can be very boring at times, but the subject and a lot of the reading is interesting.

I don't care how nice this guy is, he is a terrible lecturer and he ruins this class. Instead of focusing on pertinent information he rambles on about how many other famous psychologists he knows. Tests are unpredictable, often focusing heavily on material never mentioned in class. Prepare to read 80 pages of boring textbook and 20 pages of Norton reader a week if you want a good grade.

bonvillian is a bit absentminded and tells endless anecdotes and shows old videos, but nice guy, knows a lot about what he's tlaking about, cares a lot about psych and his students, eeeeeasy class.

The material iteslf is interesting but Bonvillian has boring lectures.
