This was Professor Lambert's first time teaching this course and the subject material was entirely new as well. For the first time that this course was taught by Professor Lambert, she really knocked it out of the park. I would say that this course has reinforced my love and understanding of history more than any other course I've had the ability to take here at UVA. The class gives an in depth lesson about how historians really do history and the actual history of this profession that we call history. I was able to learn that what happened in history is about as important as how we tell that history. The course consisted of a discussion section once a week that was always engaging and exciting. The work is light and Professor Lambert is a lenient grader, just make sure to stay ahead of the final paper or it will catch you off guard.
