Introduction to Learning Analytics
Course Description
This course introduces students to the theory, methods, tools, real-world applications, and ethical considerations of learning analytics. Students examine how data from educational settings can be collected, analyzed, and interpreted to understand and improve teaching and learning. The course emphasizes the use of learning analytics to generate actionable insights, adapt teaching or learning practices, and support equitable learning environments.
