Advanced School Counseling
Course Description
This course examines advanced theories, models, and techniques for school counseling practice. Students will explore complex issues including crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, mental health consultation, and multi-tiered support systems. Emphasis is placed on collaborating with diverse stakeholders and understanding schools as systems. Students will develop competencies in leadership, consultation, and advocacy to address systemic barriers and enhance outcomes for all students.
