Body Politics and the Body Politic
Course Description
This seminar places feminist and non-feminist debates about body politics¿beauty standards, racialization and color politics, transgender movements, body modification, work discipline, commodification, torture, cyborgs, and new corporeal technologies--in the context of a wider universe of political and philosophical writing on embodiment.
