Course Description
"Think globally, act locally," is a popular slogan that invites critical reflection on, and active engagement with, both the theoretical and empirical realities of globalization. Through lectures, readings, and individual research, this class will consider both the scholarly and the practical implications this maxim raises for local communities and citizenship in the face of global change.
