Oncology Nursing and End-of-Life Nursing

Course Description

Prerequisites

3rd -year and 4th-year in BSN program; graduate students; or instructor permission

This elective provides nursing students with an experience of oncology nursing, palliative and hospice care. Students apply knowledge about cancer pathophysiology and nursing management. Development and application of nursing skills is offered. Current concepts and practices in oncology nursing related to palliative and hospice care are explored.
