Course Description
Engineering design process by engaging teams of students in design activities that results in useful and novel products. Stages of the typical product design process, concepts of intellectual property and its protection through patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets, and the technical tools of modern engineering practice, including solids modeling and rapid prototyping.
