Organic Chemistry II Laboratory
Course Description
Further development of skills acquired in CHEM 2411; synthesis (including multistep synthesis), isolation, purification and characterization of compounds such as anestethics, antiinflamatory and antibacterial compounds, as well as peptides, oligonucleotides, synthetic polymers. One hour lab lecture and four hour laboratory meets weekly. CHEM 2420 or 2810 must be taken concurrently or prior to CHEM 2421. Drop/withdrawal from CHEM 2420 or 2810, requires drop/withdrawal from 2421.
