Enthusiastic and engaging professor who really make you rethink how you think about food as well as who food is being marketed to. Rose was wonderful I wish I could take this class again. My favorite class at UVA- I enjoyed all readings but 2. Manageable amount of reading as well!

I absolutely loved this class. The content is all very intriguing and opens your eyes to things about the food system in America and around the world that are extremely surprising. A lot of the grading in this class is based off participation which is great. Readings for the most part were interesting and definitely worthwhile. This class is FANTASTIC and I would recommend it to anyone who loves food (and learning about it too).
