Sociology of Science and Knowledge was a great introduction to the sociology and knowledge. It featured challenging but manageable readings from a wide variety of sources with class meetings that were a hybrid of lecture and discussion formats. There were two tests, two 5-page papers where we responded to films, and one 10-page paper where we were encouraged to write a creative sociological analysis of American Society. Professor Reed gives interesting lectures and is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the material. Highly recommended.
