Not a hard class comparing to the Statistics in the college, but can get a bit tedious and boring at times. The professor is really nice and friendly. Definitely do the hws and lecture notes save a lot of time when preparing for the final. Pop quizzes are a bit annoying though

Zhou is not a great professor, but he gets the job done. Don't necessarily have to pay attention to lectures to understand since they are book-based lectures. Not too difficult a class, especially if you actually do the homework and don't cramster everything.

Pretty easy stat class. Mr. Zhou is a good guy and a decent teacher, though lectures are right from the book.

This class is a breeze if you've taken AP Statistics. Prof. Zhou is great - presents all the material well and concisely. Easy APMA after taking probability.

People generally don't go to this class because it is hard to learn from Zhou. English is his second language, which provides an initial barrier, and on top of that the material is pretty boring. You'll do alright if you read the book and take notes from there. Also, "pop-up" quizes are something to worry about

As others have said, Zhou is a very fair teacher. His accent makes it a little hard to understand sometimes, but you'll get used to understanding "measure" when he says "mayor". In comparison with the book, the lectures are structured and organized well. They more or less cover what the book does, but in a more succinct manner. Homeworks can be challenging, but certainly manageable. If you stay on top of the class/material, the quizzes are fine too. Midterms are tricky, but if you put in effort you'll be fine in this class. He's also very accessible at office hours and is willing to help students grasp the content.

Most of the time he's just writing formulas on the board. Doesn't do too many examples. Accent is funny. Material isn't the most complicated but he doesn't explain it well.

As the last reviewer said, pretty easy stat class.

Zhou is decent. When he is speaking it may not seem like he is making any sense. Once you go back and look at your notes, though, you'll find that his lectures are surprisingly well-structured.
