This class was really painful. Fulgham is a nice guy and an alright teacher, but you definitely will be teaching yourself most of the material. Tests were open note and all difficult since it was taught online this semester. I would say to give this class the most focus of any class you take if you can and go to the workshop office hours for concept clarification on worksheets and WebWork. Good luck.

Not a terribly easy class, but Fulgham does try hard to make concepts stick with students. After the first exam the material definitely picks up, be sure to have reviewed some Calc 3 material to be fresh on how to set up multiple integrals. If you take the time to learn the middle portion of the class well, the last portion before and after the third midterm will be made easy. Formula sheets on midterms and the final are very helpful.

Pretty difficult content, but Fulgham keeps class interesting and explains things alright. I'd definitely recommend taking this class with Fulgham over other options (i.e. Snider).

Both Fulgham and Snider are awful, so I'm genuinely sorry for those of you who are required to take this class. Fulgham's a nice guy but a terrible teacher. He spends a lot of his time talking to the board and then standing right in front of it, covering up his notes. He's also the most disorganized professor I've ever had. You mostly have to self-teach yourself the material. The best part of his class was his very organized online lecture notes, so I would definitely recommend looking at those instead of what he writes on the board. The tests were all difficult - no way to get around it.

If you're a Systems Engineer, you have to take this class. I dunno if Fulgham or Snyder is worse, they both pretty much suck. Anytime you think Fulgham is making sense for a second, just ignore what he's saying cause it won't be on the test. He's a kinda nice guy, but a really really terrible teacher. The textbook is also worthless, don't buy it.

Weekly webwork keeps you on track, but office hours are a must to really understand the material.

Quizzes were mainly based off the weekly Webworks. All the quiz/test problems were probably seen before during class... it was difficult, but fair. Take the class with Fulgham if you have to take it, skip it otherwise.

Professor Fulgham is the worst for this class. Avoid him at all costs.

Good class and Fulgham is a great guy. Definitely study for the midterms and finals and review all example problems he does.
