Professor Ruzek is one of the nicest professors I've seen at UVA. The class was 3 hours long, and the professor's teaching style isn't super lively, so things could get boring at times, but there were students presentations every week, where 3-4 students would teach a specific portion of the day's topic, so that helped break the monotony. There was also a paper (for which you can teach someone something, do interviews or review empirical papers), and an open-book midterm and final. I'm not in the curry school and dislike psychology very much, but even I thought the class was sufficiently interesting. Grading is pretty chill.
