This class is a loooot of memorizing processes for specific types of problems. Fulgham isn't too great in class, it's pretty unorganized and there wasn't ever enough time to do the group worksheets in class so it was hard to get in questions to try to understand the concepts. But I found that when I was completely lost, Fulgham is really helpful in office hours as he would walk me through webwork problems and that way I knew how to approach the problems. So if you're completely lost, go to office hours. Class isn't helpful, but this class is totally doable if you spend time memorizing the process of how to do problems.

He doesn't really teach, I relied mostly on notes from other professors. You do worksheets in class and then the quizes are really difficult but he makes the final so many of my friends killed the final.

Fulgham is a nice professor. He's approachable and knowledgeable about the subject. The webwork and classwork prepares you very well for the tests, which are pretty fair (the problems are the same difficulty level as ones you've already done in class and for homework).

Fulgham is a fair grader and a good professor. He is engaging and manages to keep the class focused with the occasional joke. One of the best Professors I've had in the APMA department.

Professor Fulgham is pretty awesome. He definitely will be the most fair professor you will ever have in the applied mathematics department. The averages on his exam are so high because he provides etiquette preparation for every exam. The practice exams and webworks together really give you the full preparation. If you have to wait a semester to take probability with Fulgham instead of Snider, DO IT. SNIDER SUCKS.

Mr. Fulgham is kind of a strange quirky fellow. While he certainly knows the material well, he often has difficulty explaining it to the class. Furthermore, the class was taught traditionally but rather 15 minutes of lecture then the rest of the time was spent doing a worksheet with your assigned group. You should do fine in this class as long as you do the homework correctly (study the lecture notes online) and put in the effort.

Professor Fulgham is a very nice guy who is a genius at math. He is very approachable outside of class, so do not be afraid to go to office hours. He learns everyone's name within the first month of class which is pretty amazing. As for Diff Eq, the class is easier than Calc II and Calc III, but it still isn't easy.

Really enjoyed the class. Do your homework and go to office hours (both the professor and the TA were more than willing to help), and you'll do fine. People are making it seem harder than it is.

Easy class. The name sounds tough, but the class isn't. Just do the homework and you'll be fine.

I absolutely hate the fact that Fulgham uses powerpoint for his lectures. It's hard to follow and take notes but at least he'll put the post-lecture notes up on Collab eventually. On some occasions, he'll write on the board and it makes a huge difference in his teaching style. He's a good teacher but his class can be boring and the grading on tests/quizzes a little harsh. He also has a weird sense of humor, which verge on the slightly creppy side sometimes. A final, 3 tests, a couple quizzes, and Webwork (which I advise working on with others because there are so many steps that it's usually silly mistakes). Tests are fair. The class is not really curved, but that is the case for most of the other diff eq sections.
