Li is unreal. She cares a lot about her students' learning, and always makes sure that people understand the material she's lecturing on. Her lectures are legitimately pretty engaging (especially for a math course), and I can't say I was ever bored during class. She gives out pretty detailed notes before class, so all you have to do is follow along and occasionally write down an extra tidbit on your notes sheet. The second half of class is usually devoted to doing a worksheet, which is actually really helpful--they're generally structured like step-by-step walkthroughs of whatever type of problem the lecture was about, so they really help you learn the problems well. Her exams are totally reasonable, and the problems are usually very similar to the worksheet problems you're used to. Overall a pretty fun, enjoyable, and manageable class. Would highly recommend!

Prof Li is very nice and helpful. There is definitely a large language barrier and she actively tries to work around this to help each and every student. The class layout is very methodical with notes and worksheet each class with random quizzes scattered throughout. She is extremely nice and is always willing to help if you can get past the accent. Would recommend.
