Read a lot of interesting stuff. Also it's a novella class so none of the readings are very long/time consuming. Professor Lagos is intimidating at first, but she's really nice and helpful once you get to know her. Soft spoken so sit towards the front so you can hear her!

Take this class. It's a lot like SPAN330. You read, discuss, and write about the themes we discuss in class. Papers are 5 pages long. A bunch of movies on the syllabus. Professor Lagos is really friendly and it's pretty interesting.
