TL;DR: Don't take this class if you want an A.

It is absurdly difficult to get an A in this class. The TA is incredibly subjective, and basically picks a grade for you based on whether the papers agree with her views. Honestly, don't take this class if you want an A. Also, if you're a male student, you'll likely spend the semester being belittled and poked at by the TA for your sex alone, as a member of 'the patriarchy' (independent of your personal views).
