Incredibly worthwhile, especially if you are a politics, economics, or global development major (or anything in that realm). Professor Rhoads' class gives a very comprehensive view on many public policy issues - giving students an Economist's framework, while also presenting ideas that criticize that very way of thinking. Do your reading, for he gives pop-quizzes every now and then (which as Rhoads knows, only serves as an incentive for students to read the packets, which makes discussion lively). He is definitely a fair grader, and assigns work when other classes are not very busy so that you are not overwhelmed. Rhoads is an amazing professor. I completely recommend all of his courses. As an Economics and Foreign Affairs major, this had been one of my favorite classes by far.
