Yes, Wilson is friendly and approachable, but he is frankly just a terrible APMA professor. He would always make mistakes on practice problems in class and email us after class after he fixed the solution. Wilson also always put one abstract problem on each text that was extremely difficult and unfair. Avoid him as there are better alternatives.

Professor Wilson is a great guy; easy to understand and gives fair tests. His lectures can be a little boring although he generally does a good job explaining concepts and going through problems. The class is not particularly hard (it's substantially easier than Calc II), read from the textbook, do the homeworks, and you will be fine.
