Ma is great at teaching you what you need to know. She knows when students need extra help and is very helpful during her office hours. The only downside is that the test are quite hard

Taking APMA with Professor Ma was absolutely amazing! She is very good at explaining the concepts presented and really gets you to understand the idea behind the problem and how to get there, not just the calculations. I think by far her class is one of the best math classes I've ever had and makes you enjoy the class. There definitely is a substantial amount of work, but it is nothing unreasonable. As long as you go to lecture, take notes, and keep up on HW, the class is very manageable!

Professor Ma is amazing at explaining the different concepts presented in this course. She is very concise in clarifying any questions you may have. The coursework is fairly light and the homework allows room to learn from mistakes, which helped me personally to grow. I would recommend every engineering student to take this course with Professor Ma.
