The size of the class made it difficult for a discussion but the professor relentlessly tried, only a few people talked every class. The final is worth 50% of your grade, which was a group project.

The concept of the class is very interesting but the readings tend to be excessive and dense at times. The readings aren't necessary to do well in the class. The grade of the class is solely based on an essay that is continuously revised over the course of a semester. It really isn't too challenging and Professor Edmunds is really nice and outgoing.

Edmunds is a really nice guy, and very willing to help you outside of class. However, his paper assignments are horrible. You have to write four papers on the same topic, and the last one has to be around 20 pages (NOT double spaced). He grades pretty easily though, and there's no mid-term or final. Overall a pretty easy class despite the papers.
