I took Madame Bovary with Prof. Krueger and could not recommend it more. It was so rewarding to spend a lot of time with one text and by the end of the semester i felt that I had learned a great deal about Madame Bovary, Flaubert, and 19th century French literature and culture more generally. Not only did I learn a lot , but the class was also really fun and enjoyable and the workload was very manageable. Prof Krueger is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help you with your writing and research. She also hands papers back very quickly. Great class!
