Ogden is an amazing professor. She is kind, approachable, knowledgeable, and interesting. If you get used to the fear of having your classmates read and discuss every paper you write, it's a great class. Readings are totally manageable (probably 30-45pgs a night). For a second writing requirement, there really isn't that much writing-- only 4 essays, including the final, which is a timed take home essay. Overall a great class, perfect for a second writing requirement.
