I love this man. Super chill, really into the content, and it is amusing watching him punch out fifty minutes or so per day just talking — about the lectures, his comments, and then archaeology in pop culture. Talked about how archaeology big shot Jim Judge is actually Beavis and Butthead/King of the Hill's Mike Judge's dad. Also, dude once made an impression of his Navajo fieldwork associate (but he's super PC, I promise) and on occasion breaks out in accents. Has done Swedish (really bad), French, and British (pretty good, actually). But the topics are interesting, I swear. Best of all, there's no final nor midterm, just three six-page papers. Take him if you wanna keep the passion for archaeology alive.

Hantman is very entertaining. He does tend to go off on tangents, but he loves to share knowledge with his students. His hour long lectures can be a bit boring, but if you engage in the material it is a great class.
