Professor Schmidt was really nice, knowledgable in her field, and showed passion in her work, but I felt she wasn't really involved in the class. Her lectures just seemed to be her having a conversation with the class and not exactly structured so you had to make sure to have good notes to refer back to for papers and tests. Mostly it seemed like the TA did most of the work including grading, so if you have any questions go to the TA for help not the professor.
