The class is fairly theory based - lots of dense theoretical readings. Roksa is great though - very passionate about the material and a has a lot of insightful things to say. A lot of time is spent on group work which most of us felt was a waste of time and could get fairly boring. Random reading quizzes, a midterm paper, and a final paper. She grades really hard on the midterm, but everyone seemed to have bounced back from it by the time she submitted final grades.

Interesting class. Most of the grade hinges on the midterm and final, so you have to keep up with the readings every week. Most of the readings are interesting, but rather time intensive.
