While the majority of your time spent in this course will be on the groupwork (as you should, it's the most valuable learning experience), the real differentiators of performance are the quizzes, midterm, and final - prepare yourself for those (easy to do for quizzes, less so for midterm and final) and you will do well. Group cases comprise the effort put forth for this class, but at least this semester not too many of them were actually graded.
Class essentially teaches by criticism, as most of the semester's key points are brought out through case presentations that get criticized.
If you'd envision yourself as someone who'd go into consulting, this class will provide a good deal of value.

Really interesting cases but so much group work. Expect about 20 hours a week meeting with your group...every week. Very rewarding class though. Dont take the exams lightly, also.

Class is good preparation for working in consulting. Difficult dealing with Professor Bailey though and his approach of teaching concepts after we've been graded on it. No rhyme or reason to how grades are given in the class.
