Probably the best class in the Systems department. This class gets you ready to be a consultant.
Very fun class, they try to scare you in the very beginning, but don't be discouraged Scherer and Bass are very cool. You do a lot of group work for the cases and you might have to present your case each class
Not a particularly hard class. First half is Ellen Bass teaching about ANOVA and experimental design. Very repetitive, mildly interesting, not hard if you try. Second have is Scherer, who is much more engaging and you just do case studies (group and individual). He picks some groups/individuals to present their homework solutions almost daily.
Systems methodology applications through daily group case studies. Prof. Scherer is knowledgable and fun. I had no trouble paying attention in class.
Scherer is a great professor and makes class very enjoyable. He tries to be tough, but the class is still fun. Second half of the semester is much more labor intensive than the first half with both group and individual cases due every class meeting.
Fun class, tries to scare you at first, but gets better over the semester.
