Lilia is great at explaining grammatical concepts, but the class moves quickly for someone with absolutely no background knowledge of Russian.

While the content is tough, the Russian dept does a great job of trying to be fair in terms of grading. You learn a lot, especially if you can really devote lots of time to the class. The biggest problem is the ridiculous amount of vocab.
