Take this course for an easy A. This class in incredibly boring. It's a discussion section with no material to discuss. There are very few assignments- most are in class and almost all are graded on completion. If you show up and turn things in eventually you can't do badly.

This class is great! Dr. C Is a great professor and is an easy grader. She is passionate about what she teaches and really cares about her students. She tries to make jokes in class and is very adorable. I definitely recommend this class. I have an A in the class and haven't done a single reading. You definitely have to turn in all of your assignments and attend class so that you get credit however she almost always lets us out of class early. She will generally just give you all of the points if you complete assignments. There is also a 10 hour tutoring requirement that you have to fulfill but that is pretty easy to cover and it is fun/good experience. I 100% recommend. #tcf2016

Super easy class. The assignments are very straight-forward and don’t require a lot of time or thought. 1 midterm with a multiple choice and short answer section, all take home. The final is also a take home, but no multiple choice. Easy A class if you need one.

The easiest class I've ever taken in my undergraduate career. Truly amazing and a great break for someone in the eschool. Only catch is that you have to show up to class. I didn't pay attention at all and didn't do any of the readings. Always worked on other homework during class and In-class activities were common sense. Chabalengula bluffs all the time, but she's a sweet person. (sometimes I feel like she's sexist.... but whatever. just do your homework on time)

I LOVED this class. It's super easy and Dr. C is a godsend who will help you out if you miss assignments. It's also 4 credits because of the field experience component so your GPA will get a nice boost

AMAZING class soo so easy and actually pretty enjoyable. There is a required field study at a nearby school once a week but that was super fun. Take this class for an easy A.

Everyone should take this class with Dr. C before they graduate. She is so chill and super funny. You do have to volunteer once a week for one hour in a local school in Charlottesville, but that is honestly the only time-consuming part of this course. You don't have to have any interest in teaching to take this class and/or to succeed. Overall, it is pretty easy to do well in this class.

This class was super easy; I ended up with a 100% for my final grade. I definitely recommend taking this class for a grade booster. The concepts are super simple and easy to grasp. There's a field portion of the class where you volunteer 1 hour a week (satisfactory grade is 10 hours), but it's really fun and volunteering always looks good. I liked my program so much that I plan on continuing it next year just because I want to. Grading consists of 5 point in class assignments, a midterm, a final, and a group project. Just look alive in class, and you'll be fine (if she calls on you, she makes it clear that you can pass if you want to, so it's not a stressful class). She posts the lectures online, but she takes attendance for a grade. Additionally, she shortheads her notes as she writes on the whiteboard, so PAY ATTENTION. Taking good notes will save you in the end. The midterm (partially) & final are open book where it's free-response w/o a page limit. Prof. C is so chill and funny. 10/10 would take this class again.

This course was asynchronous, and that mode of instruction worked well for me, but staying self-motivated is necessary. Overall, this course was an easy A, but there is a lot of busy work, with warm-ups, assignments, and discussion board comments due every week. Basically, if you put the effort in, you will get a good grade. There is an essay-style midterm and final, and though they're tedious, they aren't hard. At the end, there is a group project that is simple as long as you have a good group. On the few occasions I interacted with the professor, she answered all my questions and was pleasant. I would recommend this course as a fairly easy GPA boost. You have to take EDIS 2880 along with it in the form of tutoring K-12 students, but you only need 10 hours total for the semester. I'd say it was worth the effort.
