This class is essentially an extension of PLAN 2110: Digital Visualization for Planners. PLAN 2110 was all about learning how to use ArcGIS, Illustrator, and Rhino, and there was quite a bit of hand-holding from Professor Luegering with each assignment. PLAN 2020 is much more self-directed and open-ended. You'll be expected to do more research and be more creative in this class. There's a bit of group work involved as well, particularly for the final assignment.

Michael is a great guy and is incredibly passionate about the subject, but his lectures get a little dry. That said, he's easy to work with and a fair grader. Assigned readings were completely optional. Overall, I'd recommend this class and PLAN 2110 to anyone looking to hone their skills in Illustrator and Rhino!
