prof lindgren isn't the most engaging, but he's super nice, and at the end of the semester, he'll give everyone the highest grade they can possibly get. there is weekly hw assignments, but they're multiple choice, so it's not hard- just don't turn them in late. lecture definitely helps, but isn't necessary to figure out what's going on (watch the online textbook videos). he allows a cheatsheet for the two midterms and the final, and as long as you study the night before (exams are more conceptual than application), you should be fine. i took this to fulfill a gened, and i'm pretty happy with how it turned out. as long as you somewhat enjoy physics, i recommend!
