I really enjoyed this course and would highly recommend it to anybody who is looking for a relatively easy class that fulfills a science requirement. Professor Group is super nice and helpful, he really worked hard to make his lectures interesting and not completely boring. The class grade consists of two midterms and a final which are all worth only 40% together, so a lot of your final grade comes from the online homework (30%) and various other small things like a project or class participation. If you go to class and put in the minimum amount of work required of you, this class will be an easy A or A-. Professor Group is also an awesome and incredibly intelligent guy if you get to know him -- this is his first time teaching a lower level course at UVa as his primary job here is working in the particle physics lab.
