Professor Williams is one of the most disorganized professors I've ever had. Not only does his syllabus not correlate with what he actually wants you to do, he literally doesn't have a powerpoint or set agenda to teach from. He sits and talks at you on any topic he wants to discuss for a solid hour. We read his own book and class lecture seemed detached from that material. With this class specifically, the man is a complete ideologue who will never accept an idea different from his own, despite outwardly stating the opposite. I felt guilty dropping the class but I could not stand it for more than 3 weeks.

This was really a VERY fun class. The readings pretty much aren't required for the class - although they're helpful for the papers that we have to write - so you'll be fine even if you just want to go to class without having done the reading. Watching clips from the Daily Show and Colbert Report is INSANELY FUN and happens at lease once a class! I'd definitely recommend taking this class, for sure.
