great professor and very fair! good 5000 level class to start out with

Excellent Class. If you take Survey of Algebra beforehand it should make this class significantly more manageable. Abramenko is an awesome professor - very clear. Midterms and Final were difficult but very fair.

Abramenko is extremely boring, but his lectures are clear and his homeworks and exams are fair.
