Unless you really enjoy math, DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE! Socolovsky is impossible to understand and reads off of powerpoint slides from another math teacher. Honestly, reading the powerpoint slides alone is FAR more effective than going to class and listening to him. Unfortunately, attendance is basically mandatory since there are pop quizzes. The most frustrating thing about this class is that what he teaches and what the homework covers is incredibly easy compared to what is on the tests. I got good grades on the quizzes, did all of the homework, and studied, and was still left completely unprepared for the test. Some people get what's going on in this class, but unless you absolutely adore math, stay away!!! (Background: not a huge fan of math but I took BC Calc in high school and did not find it difficult)
