Corbeill is great. He is very passionate about Latin and keeps you engaged while learning a language. He is extremely effective at lecturing and teaching the Latin language. This course is a bit harder than LATI 1010, but that is expected as you progress through language. The course is very similar to LATI 1010 with daily translations, 10-15 quizzes throughout the semester and 2-3 midterms with a final. Quizzes are too hard as you go over what will be on them. Midterms and finals are just like the practice ones you are given, you will be told everything that is on them. Overall the class is not terribly hard but it will take up a good amount of your time as the class does move fast. The professor and TAs make the class much more manageable and enjoyable.
