Professor Mikalson is the best professor I've ever had! He's so knowledgable about the subject and really cares about his students' understanding. Lectures were always engaging and helpful in understanding the material (the book is confusing; attend lecture! It's worth it). Mikalson makes lecture fun and always made me laugh. His test and quizzes are always fair, and he provides excellent study materials. He's one of the only professors I've had that truly cares that his students do well and he never tries to trick you. Although I'm a classics major and only took the class for my major, I would recommend this class to anyone who needs to meet a language requirement or just wants to learn Greek for fun. I loved this class and professor so much that I'm now planning on taking Intermediate Greek. An A in this course is very attainable as long as you do the homework and attend class, which you will want to do after you get to know Mikalson!
