This class is SUPER useful for anyone doing or thinking of doing research, or even just to better understand scientific articles. The class is fairly fast-paced, but definitely worthwhile. Rosemary was the best TA!

This class is SO useful. I agree that a 2.5 hour long class is tough but this class is hands down the most useful class I have ever taken at UVA. The material is so relevant and every person who plans to consider themselves serious research scientists should take it.

Sitting in class for 2.5 hours can be challenging, but the information is really useful and relevant. This class isn't very hard (look at the grade distribution) and the professor and TAs are eager to help.
