Professor Maus is a great lecturer and makes all of the plays come to life. Grading is based on 3 papers, and a final that is essay-based passage ID's. Make sure you get a good TA: it will make or break your grade.

I am premed biology major, so Shakespeare is completely out of my element, but Katherine Maus made it really enjoyable and fun! I've only read Shakespeare in high school, so I only knew the superficial plots. Maus delved into them and really made me think about each play and its bigger context. We went through a play every 2-3 lectures, so the readings weren't that bad. The grade is based off of 3 papers and a final (and the final is rather easy if you paid attention in lecture!)
