Great course! Extremely reading-heavy, but that's to be expected in an ENLT course. In this class we read about a 300 pg book between every 2-3 classes. There are typically short writing assignments that go along with each book, but nothing that can't be completed quickly. There are three papers throughout the semester and a pretty easy final exam, but that's really the extent of the work in this class. Ferguson is great, the books that he put on the syllabus are incredible, you just really have to do all of the reading (it's a LOT) and do it on time. Overall would definitely recommend this class if you like reading and want to be exposed to new books!
