This is a very hard class. The first half of the semester is very demanding, involving reading and critiquing very very very many economics journal articles. The research project is similarly demanding, especially if you choose a large/messy dataset or difficult research question. However, this course is incredibly informative on how policy research works, and the finished product you create ends up being a huge asset in future situations.
