Professor Peterson is really kind and emphasizes effort over accuracy. The entire course grade is based on homework assignments and he can reduce your grade if you have more than 2 unexcused absences, but he said he was generous with the point deduction this semester. We covered a lot of topics that would be really useful for anyone going into investment management. In the middle of the semester, we each constructed our own portfolios of 6 asset classes and got to work with them throughout the semester. If you're going to take this class, take it with Peterson. Even if you don't understand the material, he is always there to help you. If you mess up badly on the homework, I think he lets you redo it.
