Jason is a phenomenal lecturer, on par with Gabe and abhi. The course consists of 3 programming assignments and 2 exams (no final). The assignments are on (1) image processing (i.e., a barebones photoshop), (2) ray-tracing, and (3) openGL rendering. A fair bit of trig is involved and the workload is high, but you go over everything you need to know. Very worthwhile, very rewarding, highly recommended.

The professor is great and engaging during the lectures but the homework is truly time consuming. You are given about a month to do each homework assignment and if you procrastinate, be ready to spend 7 hours every day for a week to finish it. Tests are really not bad if you pay attention in lectures and actually come, just slides were not enough to know all the answers on the test.
